Once you have issued a print license, if you have been given the “Orders > Support” privilege, you can:
Cancel open print licenses
Grant reprint requests
Deny reprint requests
You can cancel print licenses once the user has pressed the “Reserve and Prepare ” button in the workbench print license execution process.
To cancel a print license:
Navigate to “Orders ”
Click the order you want to cancel
Expand the DIS License
Press the Cancel button
Press Confirm in the confirmation screen.
The license will change its status back to Open
If you expand the license again, you will see in the license's history that the print has been cancelled.
You will also see who cancelled the print.
In the DIS Workbench, the user will see the print license as available again in the Open bucket.
If problems arise during the printing or post-processing steps, DIS Workbench users can request a reprint .
To grant a reprint request:
Navigate to “Orders ”
You can filter in the Support Column for “Reprint Requested ”
Click the order that has requested a reprint
Expand the DIS License
You can see the reasons why the reprint was requested by clicking on the “Reprint requested ” row.
To accept the reprint request, click “Grant ”
Press Grant in the confirmation screen.
The decision will be saved in the license's history. You will be able to see who granted the reprint.
In the DIS Workbench the print license will be moved back to the Open bucket and the user will be able to print again.
In some cases, you might choose to deny a reprint request .
To deny a reprint request:
Navigate to “Orders ”
You can filter in the Support Column for “Reprint Requested ”
Click the order that has requested a reprint.
Expand the DIS License
To deny the reprint request, click “Deny ”
Press Deny in the confirmation screen.
The decision will be saved in the license's history. You will be able to see who denied the reprint.
In the DIS Workbench, the user will receive a notification that the print request has been denied. The print license will be moved to the Completed with the status “Reprint Denied”.
